The Chinese New Year!
Hello!
On the 7th day of the Chinese New Year, here's wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
恭喜发财,万事如意,身体健康,年年有余!
Left with too many oranges after CNY that you don't know what to do with them?
Here are 6 suggestions on
What To Do With Your Oranges Other Than Exchanging Them!1. Juggle them and entertain your friends when you a) actually succeed in doing it or b) fail miserably and hit your head with the oranges.
2. Use the orange peel to make orange-flavoured cakes! Please ensure that the oranges are washed clean after dropping them on the floor while juggling them.
3. Take a leaf out of Halloween's book and draw faces on the oranges/carve out faces on the oranges.
4. Cut the oranges into half and take our the juicy bits carefully without breaking the orange peel. And ta-da! two orange caps for your younger sibling/cousin to wear!
5. Put the orange peels into a porous bag and hang it in your cupboard for a slight orange fragrance! (Note: Please do change the orange peels in the bag from time to time.)
6. After doing everything above with the oranges, please do not waste them and eat the oranges up! According to the USDA Nutrient database, oranges contain up to 75% of Vitamin C among other vitamins and protein!
So let's eat up all the oranges from Chinese New Year, yay!
